Hello Reader,
It feels like a change is in the air doesn’t it? Or is it just me?
(Maybe it's just me.)
At any rate, I am at a turning point!
I got the ok from my surgeon last week that my broken wrist bone is healed and I can “do anything I want…. pushups, whatever,” because the bone looks great! I also “graduated” from my weekly PT sessions to every other week. I have worked hard to regain my wrist movement, but I do have a ways to go to heal the soft tissue, which is my next challenge. And I am up for it!
SO, to celebrate, I am putting together a series that addresses another body part that I have learned how to keep strong- our back.
(I joke that I am an expert in back pain because I have had my share of it.)
It is partly true, but also all the work that I have done through the years helping clients, and the lessons I have learned from my own body, allow me to share this information from a first-hand experience. I am excited to present it for you next month, and I hope you will join me.
Please share this email with anyone you know who might benefit from this Back Care Course. (No Pilates experience is necessary!)
And as far as the changes in the air….. I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a new beginning! (After what for me was a pretty rough last year!)
So with 2021 in the rearview mirror, and the vast expanse of possibilities ahead of us for 2022, I invite you to join me in the upcoming year to take a new look at your health and the many ways we can work together to improve how you feel. I have some exciting new programs in the works that will incorporate movement, nutrition and more. Details coming soon.
Sending you all my love and best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2022.
Reach out if you have time and let me know how you are! I miss you.
Hugs,
Ruth
With much love,
Ruth and the Corestar Team

Hello friends, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I hope you have had a special day. I wanted to check in because I know I’ve been quiet for a while. The truth is, this healing process is longer and a little harder than I ever expected, and that makes it hard to share when it's not all “positive and making great progress “ to report. (At least for me). That being said, I have struggled the most with neck vertebra instability and vertigo. I start next week with a vestibular...
Hello Reader, Have you ever had an injury that all of a sudden showed up and you don’t really know what you did, or how it happened? I jokingly call these “sleeping injuries” because sometimes I just wake up that way! Most people, when talking about this, will usually follow it with a comment like…“I guess I’m just getting old” as a way to shrug it off and continue on. But is that really what it is? Is there any truth to the idea of the age of our body is the reason it hurts? Is that what...
Hello Friends! Do you ever struggle with finding time for a full workout? Has the summer taken you away from your normal routine, and you found that a regular exercise routine was one of the things that maybe you let go of during the busy summer season? Or do you feel like if you can’t put in a full hour of exercise, it isn’t worth it? (I have been there!) So you skip it until later when you have more time… and that “later” never really happens. It's actually a bit ironic that my focus this...
